After installing v1.2 Beta 1 or greater, double-click to extract the unit, which will place the unit file in the Total Annihilation installation directory (default is C:/Cavedog/Totala) along with a readme.txt, which will be placed in the Docs folder, unless otherwise specified. The unit file must be located in the same directory as Totala.exe. After the unit is installed, it will appear as an option in the appropriate build menus during Skirmish and Multiplayer games. The units will not be available for play in single-player missions.
To use the unit in a multiplayer game, all players must have it installed. If one player does not have the new unit installed, none of the other players will be able to use it.
